Hi.
Does anyone know how to transpose a piece for a flute into one for the piano? That is, if you have the score for the flute, what is the interval change when you transpose it for piano?
Thanks!

Hi VCM. I write a bit of music. The notes on a flute look the same on a treble clef piano staff. Clarinets and saxophones have to worry about transposition. Lips sealed

Hi VCM!

There is no need to transpose a flute piece into a piano piece because a flute is not a transposing insturment. You just play the same notes for the treble clef and you would have to figure out the notes for the bass clef. Hope this helps!
